The Opportunity:

As a Mathematics Teacher - MYP & DP, you will inspire curiosity and critical thinking in mathematics through engaging, concept-driven learning experiences. You will teach across both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), with a focus on DP Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation (AI) and Analysis & Approaches (AA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, teach, and assess engaging units of inquiry aligned with the IB MYP and DP Mathematics frameworks.
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and challenge students to achieve excellence.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in DP Mathematics: AI and AA at various levels (SL/HL).
  • Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance mathematical understanding.
  • Contribute to curriculum review, vertical alignment, and continuous program development.
  • Promote interdisciplinary learning and connections across subject areas.
  • Prepare students for success in internal and external DP Economics assessments, including the DP Economics Internal Assessment (IA).
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback that supports student growth and reflection.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international or IB schools.
  • Proven experience teaching DP Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation (AI) and/or Analysis & Approaches (AA).

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme.
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and assessment for learning principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and intercultural understanding.
