Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths and Science lessons that align with curriculum standards.
  • Design and implement assessments and feedback strategies to enhance student achievement.
  • Support student learning through both theoretical and practical approaches to Science and Maths.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and resources.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science and Maths education and integrate new teaching technologies.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives that support student development and academic growth.
  • Prepare students for examinations and ensure they meet curriculum requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant specialist qualifications, such as a BSc in a Maths or Science-related degree.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality Science and Maths lessons across a range of modules and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Science and Maths.
  • Commitment to preparing students for examinations and ensuring academic success.

Preferred

  • Specialism in Biology or related subjects.
  • Experience teaching in an international school setting.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to use multiple platforms for 21st-century learning.
  • Strong English language communication skills (C2 level or equivalent).
  • Excellent collaboration and time management skills.
