Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and learning
- Support the school’s mission to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve departmental standards and student outcomes
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning community
- Participate in the school’s Professional Development Programme and contribute to staff training
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a disruption-free learning environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership or coordinating role within a Maths department
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with behaviour management strategies
