Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics to high-achieving students.
  • Deliver lessons that stretch students beyond the standard curriculum and prepare them for university admissions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop an integrated STEM curriculum.
  • Build partnerships with universities, research institutions, and industry professionals for student enrichment.
  • Participate in outreach initiatives to raise the quality of mathematics education in the region.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at a high academic standard.
  • Experience in preparing students for university admissions, including Oxbridge and Russell Group applications.
  • Commitment to fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering enrichment programmes or outreach initiatives.
  • Background in working with gifted and talented students.
  • Familiarity with university and industry partnerships in STEM education.
