The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support high-attaining pupils through academic interventions and enrichment activities.
  • Deliver maths masterclasses and small group sessions, progressing to whole-class teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies aligned with curriculum goals.
  • Engage with students and parents to support their academic and personal development.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to build teaching skills and knowledge.

  • Stay up to date with developments in mathematics education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant graduate degree.
  • A strong interest in mathematics and education.
  • Commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics.
  • Previous involvement in education or community-based initiatives.
  • Experience with academic interventions or enrichment programmes.
