Key Responsibilities:
- Support high-attaining pupils through academic interventions and enrichment activities.
- Deliver maths masterclasses and small group sessions, progressing to whole-class teaching.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to enhance the learning experience for students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies aligned with curriculum goals.
- Engage with students and parents to support their academic and personal development.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to build teaching skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to inclusion and equality of opportunity.
- Stay up to date with developments in mathematics education and pedagogy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant graduate degree.
- A strong interest in mathematics and education.
- Commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics.
- Previous involvement in education or community-based initiatives.
- Experience with academic interventions or enrichment programmes.
