The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting high-achieving pupils through academic interventions, enrichment activities, and maths masterclasses. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to small groups and whole classes.
- Provide academic support and enrichment to high-attaining students through masterclasses and interventions.
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and the Teaching & Learning Team to enhance your practice.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning culture.
- Support the school’s mission to ensure all students have the opportunity to flourish academically and socially.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Work closely with students to inspire a love of mathematics and encourage academic success.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of curriculum-related activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant graduate degree in mathematics or a related field.
- A strong commitment to education and making a difference in students’ lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or mentoring.
- Familiarity with maths education and curriculum development.
- Experience with academic interventions or enrichment programs.
- Previous involvement in education or community-based initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £37,101 per annum for a two-year role.
