The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting high-attaining pupils through academic interventions, enrichment activities, and maths masterclasses. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support high-attaining pupils through academic interventions and enrichment activities
  • Deliver maths masterclasses to small groups and build up to teaching whole classes
  • Work closely with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure they have a positive school experience
  • Collaborate with other staff to create engaging and impactful maths learning experiences
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maths outcomes for students
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to build teaching and leadership skills
  • Contribute to the school’s mission and values through daily practice and collaboration
  • Support the school’s commitment to co-operative values and ethical teaching practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant graduate degree
  • A strong passion for mathematics and education
  • Commitment to working with disadvantaged pupils
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to participate in the teacher training programme

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics
  • Knowledge of maths education and curriculum development
  • Experience with academic interventions or enrichment activities
  • Understanding of co-operative values and ethics
