The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting high-attaining pupils through academic interventions, enrichment activities, and maths masterclasses. Key Responsibilities:
- Support high-attaining pupils through academic interventions and enrichment activities
- Deliver maths masterclasses to small groups and build up to teaching whole classes
- Work closely with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure they have a positive school experience
- Collaborate with other staff to create engaging and impactful maths learning experiences
- Develop and implement strategies to improve maths outcomes for students
- Participate in training and development opportunities to build teaching and leadership skills
- Contribute to the school’s mission and values through daily practice and collaboration
- Support the school’s commitment to co-operative values and ethical teaching practices
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant graduate degree
- A strong passion for mathematics and education
- Commitment to working with disadvantaged pupils
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to participate in the teacher training programme
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics
- Knowledge of maths education and curriculum development
- Experience with academic interventions or enrichment activities
- Understanding of co-operative values and ethics
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £37,101 per annum for a two-year role
