The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving and innovative department. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a friendly and collegiate school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across all key stages, with a strong focus on the Sixth Form.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and developing a deep understanding of Mathematics.
  • Participate actively in the extra-curricular life of the school.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through committee work and other responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at all levels up to A Level.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Willingness to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the school.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Further Mathematics.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience in a boarding school or similar environment.
  • Experience in mentoring or coaching students.
