Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across all key stages, with a strong focus on the Sixth Form.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and developing a deep understanding of Mathematics.
- Participate actively in the extra-curricular life of the school.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Mathematics curriculum.
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through committee work and other responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at all levels up to A Level.
- Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
- Willingness to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the school.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Further Mathematics.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience in a boarding school or similar environment.
- Experience in mentoring or coaching students.
