Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, ensuring high academic standards.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a calm and focused learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice and professional growth.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of high expectations, respect, and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience teaching Maths up to KS5.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
  • Fluency in spoken English.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching other subjects.
  • Experience in a school with a ‘warm/strict’ approach to behaviour and learning.
  • Experience working in a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
