Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, ensuring high academic standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Maintain strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a calm and focused learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice and professional growth.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of high expectations, respect, and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching Maths up to KS5.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
- Fluency in spoken English.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching other subjects.
- Experience in a school with a ‘warm/strict’ approach to behaviour and learning.
- Experience working in a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
