Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages, ensuring student engagement and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and professional environment to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the A Level and GCSE Statistics curriculum.
  • Support students through effective mentoring and pastoral care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Engage in extra-curricular activities to enhance the school’s educational offer.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student achievement and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Experience of teaching across all key stages, including A Level and GCSE.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for Maths education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a large, successful Maths department.
  • Experience with Further Maths and enrichment courses.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a teaching team.
  • Familiarity with specialist College status in Mathematics and Computing.
