Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages, ensuring student engagement and academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and professional environment to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the A Level and GCSE Statistics curriculum.
- Support students through effective mentoring and pastoral care.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development initiatives.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities to enhance the school’s educational offer.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student achievement and well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Experience of teaching across all key stages, including A Level and GCSE.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for Maths education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a large, successful Maths department.
- Experience with Further Maths and enrichment courses.
- Leadership or mentoring experience within a teaching team.
- Familiarity with specialist College status in Mathematics and Computing.
