Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that promote outstanding progress and achievement.
- Set high expectations for student behavior and maintain a disciplined, engaging classroom environment.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to keep students motivated and involved in learning.
- Analyze assessment data to inform planning and support student progress.
- Mark and monitor student work, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics with a deep understanding of curriculum and assessment practices.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding teaching and improve student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching across different ability levels at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Experience in pastoral roles, such as form tutoring.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching strategies and technologies.
