Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that motivate students of all abilities
  • Use assessment effectively to track progress, identify misconceptions and support student achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration
  • Support students in building confidence and achieving strong outcomes in Maths
  • Work as part of a team focused on raising standards and accelerating improvement
  • Implement evidence-based classroom strategies and behaviour management techniques
  • Participate in professional development and mentoring programmes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Experience of teaching across a range of abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience with SEND, Pupil Premium, EAL or Children in Care students
  • Experience in curriculum development and collaborative planning
  • Familiarity with research-informed teaching methods
  • Leadership potential or experience in middle or senior roles
