Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to the continued improvement of Maths outcomes across the school.
  • Support the school’s commitment to developing character and providing a broad range of experiences for students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in the school’s CPD programme and contribute to staff development.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at the appropriate level.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on student behaviour and learning.
  • Experience of working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience of working with diverse student groups and supporting inclusion.
