Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student achievement and progression.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of co-curricular activities that promote a love of mathematics.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of educational practice.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the school's vision and strategic goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, with a track record of student success.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Involvement in subject networks or professional learning communities.
- Experience with online learning platforms and digital resources.
- Leadership experience or interest in taking on leadership roles in the future.
