Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with department leaders and colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for departmental improvement.
  • Foster a love of mathematics and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • Contribute to the continued success of a high-performing mathematics department.
  • Take an active role in the school's professional learning and development programme.
  • Support the school's vision and values through consistent and committed teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in mathematics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics across all age and ability ranges.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
  • Experience in delivering impactful teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support departmental strategies.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with the school’s context and values.
