Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, knowledge-rich Maths lessons tailored to the needs of students at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement and achievement.
- Contribute to the planning and development of the Maths curriculum, including extracurricular opportunities.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to share best practices and support professional development.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
- Engage with students through a wide range of extracurricular activities and learning experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3/4 Maths curriculum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 4 or sixth form
- Experience with curriculum development and extracurricular programme planning
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar
