Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance departmental teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity in the classroom.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching Maths at key stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and progression.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Maths at key stage 5.
  • Familiarity with assessment and examination requirements.
  • Experience in using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity.
