The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and successful department. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students across all key stages.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results, with a focus on preparing them for university applications and advanced study.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the maths curriculum and teaching methods.
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students, helping them to reach their full potential.
- Participate in the wider school community, including co-curricular activities and extracurricular events.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with developments in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching practices.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of enrichment opportunities, such as Core Maths and Further Maths qualifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in teaching mathematics.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding results at A-level and GCSE.
- Experience working with students of a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Further Maths or Core Maths.
- Familiarity with Edexcel and AQA qualifications.
- Experience in a school with a strong co-curricular programme.
- Ability to contribute to the pastoral and community aspects of the school.
