The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across all key stages, including A-level and Further Mathematics.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that engage and inspire students.
- Work collaboratively with the Mathematics department to share best practice and continuously improve the curriculum.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualised feedback and pastoral care.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and staff development activities.
- Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme by encouraging student participation in Mathematics-related activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including A-level and Further Mathematics.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a strong academic focus and a supportive teaching environment.
- Experience with evidence-based teaching methods and continuous professional development.
- Ability to contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Experience in a school with a co-curricular programme that promotes student engagement and leadership.
