The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic and successful faculty. This role offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, while benefiting from a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5 to a range of ability levels
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote curiosity, exploration, and discovery
- Support student progress through differentiated instruction and formative assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental initiatives and resources
- Participate in school-wide professional development and training programs
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive and diverse culture through positive engagement with students and staff
- Monitor and report on student achievement and progress regularly
- Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities for students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
- Experience with museum learning or innovative teaching methods
- Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Experience with pastoral care or student support
