The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic and successful faculty. This role offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, while benefiting from a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5 to a range of ability levels
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote curiosity, exploration, and discovery
  • Support student progress through differentiated instruction and formative assessment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental initiatives and resources
  • Participate in school-wide professional development and training programs
  • Contribute to the school’s inclusive and diverse culture through positive engagement with students and staff
  • Monitor and report on student achievement and progress regularly
  • Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities for students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

  • Experience with museum learning or innovative teaching methods
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting
  • Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Experience with pastoral care or student support
