Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages, ensuring student engagement and progress.
  • Support students in achieving excellent GCSE and A-level results, with a focus on raising attainment and widening participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in departmental planning, curriculum development, and assessment processes.
  • Mentor and support students through extra-curricular activities and academic guidance.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Take an active role in the school community through pastoral and enrichment activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Experience in teaching Further Maths or A-level Maths.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities or enrichment programs.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.
