Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages, ensuring student engagement and progress.
- Support students in achieving excellent GCSE and A-level results, with a focus on raising attainment and widening participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in departmental planning, curriculum development, and assessment processes.
- Mentor and support students through extra-curricular activities and academic guidance.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Take an active role in the school community through pastoral and enrichment activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting departmental initiatives.
- Experience in teaching Further Maths or A-level Maths.
- Experience with extra-curricular activities or enrichment programs.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
