As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students who have faced significant barriers to learning. This is a unique opportunity to deliver engaging, inclusive, and impactful Maths lessons that inspire confidence and curiosity in young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver dynamic, engaging Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create imaginative schemes of work that make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable.
- Lead on PSHE and RSE Curriculum delivery across key stages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards across the school.
- Track and celebrate student progress through creative assessment methods.
- Help shape an inclusive, trauma-informed environment where every student can thrive.
- Contribute fresh ideas to ongoing school development and curriculum innovation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Education (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs
- A compassionate, resilient approach and a belief in every child’s potential
Preferred
- Experience in designing and delivering innovative Maths curriculum
- Experience with trauma-informed teaching practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
