Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement an ambitious curriculum that supports student progress and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning across the department.
- Support students' personal and academic development through pastoral care and guidance.
- Participate in the ongoing review and refinement of the school's curriculum.
- Engage in continued professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience of teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching A Level Mathematics.
- Experience of working in a school with a strong CPD programme.
- Experience of curriculum development or leadership in a subject department.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
