Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.
  • Support the school's PRIDE values (positivity, resilience, integrity, determination, and endeavour) in daily teaching and interactions.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives.
  • Work closely with students to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Commitment to student achievement and school improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with the use of digital tools in teaching and learning.
  • Experience in pastoral support or student leadership programs.
