Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.
- Support the school's PRIDE values (positivity, resilience, integrity, determination, and endeavour) in daily teaching and interactions.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives.
- Work closely with students to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Commitment to student achievement and school improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools in teaching and learning.
- Experience in pastoral support or student leadership programs.
