Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons at all levels, ensuring student engagement and academic progress.
  • Design and implement innovative teaching strategies aligned with curriculum design and cognitive science principles.
  • Support the school’s extra-curricular programme and contribute to the development of student leadership and skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice and career growth.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and data analysis to monitor student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design and cognitive science principles.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and student achievement.
  • Experience in contributing to extra-curricular activities and student support programmes.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Maths to a range of abilities and levels.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate or A-Levels curriculum.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and attainment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
