The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities
  • Support the school’s vision and values through consistent and positive engagement with students and colleagues

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 or the ability and ambition to do so
  • Strong subject knowledge and commitment to student achievement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience in an academy or multi-academy trust setting
  • Experience with early career teacher support or mentorship
  • Experience with safeguarding and pastoral care
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies
