Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities
- Support the school’s vision and values through consistent and positive engagement with students and colleagues
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 or the ability and ambition to do so
- Strong subject knowledge and commitment to student achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience in an academy or multi-academy trust setting
- Experience with early career teacher support or mentorship
- Experience with safeguarding and pastoral care
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies
