As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mathematics education to students aged 11-18. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across all key stages, including A Level
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies based on research and best practice
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve departmental performance
  • Support the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and inclusion
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular Mathematics activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement and attendance

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
  • Ability to teach Mathematics to A Level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL)
  • Experience in a specialist maths and computing school
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles
