The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students and delivering high-quality education. This is an exciting opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators to make a real impact in the classroom and help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13.
- Build strong relationships with students and their families to support their learning journey.
- Use established structures to manage behaviour and maintain a positive, disruption-free classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in the school’s Professional Development Programme and utilise allocated non-contact time for pedagogical development.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure rapid academic growth.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practices in Maths education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven ability to teach Maths at secondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student progress and academic achievement
- Experience in classroom management and behaviour support
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Maths to students across multiple key stages
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Experience with using technology in the classroom
- Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs
