The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students and delivering high-quality education. This is an exciting opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators to make a real impact in the classroom and help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13.
  • Build strong relationships with students and their families to support their learning journey.
  • Use established structures to manage behaviour and maintain a positive, disruption-free classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning practices.
  • Participate in the school’s Professional Development Programme and utilise allocated non-contact time for pedagogical development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure rapid academic growth.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practices in Maths education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven ability to teach Maths at secondary level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student progress and academic achievement
  • Experience in classroom management and behaviour support

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Maths to students across multiple key stages
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom
  • Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs
