Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths to GCSE level, ensuring a broad and engaging curriculum is delivered to all students.
- Contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons in line with the school’s teaching philosophy.
- Support the enrichment programme by developing and delivering extra-curricular activities related to Maths.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student performance regularly.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Maths at GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with willingness to undergo DBS checks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a co-educational environment.
- Familiarity with independent school standards and practices.
- Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
