Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that inspire and engage students.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
Prepare and assess students’ work in line with curriculum requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
Support student well-being and provide individualised guidance where needed.
Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities, including maths clubs and competitions.
Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

Experience in teaching GCSE or A-level mathematics.
Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
Experience working in a high-performing school environment.
