Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
- Prepare and assess students’ work in line with curriculum requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
- Support student well-being and provide individualised guidance where needed.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities, including maths clubs and competitions.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching GCSE or A-level mathematics.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience working in a high-performing school environment.
- Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
