The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and learning outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
- Support student well-being and encourage a positive learning environment.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that promote the school’s values.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, preferably across the 11-16 age range.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in Initial Teacher Training or school-to-school support.
- Familiarity with the Golborne Way and a commitment to the school’s values.
- Experience with CPD and early career teacher development.
- Flexibility to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
