Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Utilize modern teaching methods and technologies, including video conferencing and online resources.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards of achievement.

  • Stay up to date with educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching strategies into daily practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Maths or a related field.
  • Recent experience teaching Maths to students in KS3-KS4.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Maths.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Preferred

  • Experience with self-directed learning frameworks.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital resources.
  • Experience with video conferencing tools and blended learning environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive school community.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
