Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering Maths to a range of abilities.
  • Familiarity with using technology in the classroom.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
