The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher to join our expanding Senior School team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring a love of mathematics in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Maths lessons to students across a range of year groups.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
  • Support the school’s mission of fostering happiness, confidence, and achievement in every child.
  • Work closely with parents and other school staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Proven ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching within an independent or co-educational school setting.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment systems.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Previous involvement in extracurricular activities or maths-related clubs.
