The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring and well-qualified Maths Teacher to join our successful department. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across all key stages.
- Prepare and assess students’ work in line with the school’s high standards.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop the department’s teaching and learning strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continued improvement.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and review of the curriculum.
- Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate and in line with school policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A Level Mathematics.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Previous experience in pastoral support or student mentoring.
