Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students across a range of abilities.
  • Support students in preparing for GCSE Maths and resit maths qualifications.
  • Provide cross-curricular support for T Level provision where required.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and intervention where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive maths curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
  • Engage with industry partners and employers on relevant projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience in delivering GCSE Maths and resit maths qualifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement.

Preferred

  • Experience with T Level provision or technical education.
  • Experience in cross-curricular teaching or collaboration.
  • Experience with industry partnerships or employer engagement.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
