Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students across a range of abilities.
- Support students in preparing for GCSE Maths and resit maths qualifications.
- Provide cross-curricular support for T Level provision where required.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and intervention where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive maths curriculum.
- Participate in professional development and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities.
- Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
- Engage with industry partners and employers on relevant projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Experience in delivering GCSE Maths and resit maths qualifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to student progress and achievement.
Preferred
- Experience with T Level provision or technical education.
- Experience in cross-curricular teaching or collaboration.
- Experience with industry partnerships or employer engagement.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
