The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage students and promote deep understanding.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve departmental outcomes.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities related to Maths.
- Support the school’s commitment to Values, Care, and Achievement through pastoral and academic guidance.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, ideally with GCSE qualifications.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching A Level Mathematics or equivalent.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with using technology in the classroom.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on Values, Care and Achievement.
