Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and colleagues to develop and enhance the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Create and implement engaging teaching resources and assessment strategies.
  • Promote a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student interest and enjoyment of Mathematics.
  • Contribute to the delivery of pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
  • Support the continued improvement of Mathematics teaching and learning across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience, preferably in a British school.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering schemes of work.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum standards.
  • Experience in extracurricular programme development.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and learning.
