The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Media Studies at AS and A level with a focus on student engagement and achievement.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular programme and support the school’s enrichment initiatives.
  • Act as a form tutor and promote Media Studies across the school.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards.
  • Deliver lessons that align with the National Curriculum of England and Wales and IGCSE/A level requirements.
  • Support student pastoral care and personal development.
  • Participate in professional development and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualification and proven experience in the UK or an international school.
  • Proven experience teaching Media Studies at AS and A level.
  • Strong command of effective teaching methods and commitment to educational standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Ability to teach another subject.
  • Experience with virtual teaching and blended learning approaches.
  • Experience in pastoral care within a secondary school setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
