Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first aid and respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively
- Administer medication and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Support student wellbeing through proactive communication with staff, parents, and students
- Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment in a safe and organised manner
- Liaise with parents and school staff to ensure the health and safety of all students
- Collaborate with other professionals to support student health and development
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies
- Provide regular updates and reports on medical incidents and trends
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified in First Aid or willing to train and obtain certification
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and highly organised
- Strong communication skills and a professional, caring approach
- Experience in providing medical support in an educational setting
Preferred
- Experience in administering medication and maintaining medical records
- Previous experience in a school or similar environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in education
