As the MFL Faculty Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a team of teachers, driving the school’s mission to deliver outstanding education. This role is ideal for an experienced and passionate educator who is committed to promoting a high-quality curriculum and enriching student experiences through extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of MFL teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the delivery of French and Spanish across the school.
- Promote and model the school’s core values of Courage, Commitment, and Compassion.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and impactful curriculum.
- Provide professional development opportunities for MFL staff.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of MFL staff to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align MFL initiatives with school-wide goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in MFL subjects, specifically French.
- Proven leadership experience within a school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Spanish in addition to French.
- Previous experience in a faculty leadership role.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Experience in promoting extracurricular engagement in MFL.
