We are seeking a passionate and innovative MFL Teacher (French) to join a successful and dedicated department. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-level teaching. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality French lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students
- Use innovative and engaging teaching methods to inspire students and raise attainment
- Support the development of A-level French where possible
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Track and use data to monitor student progress and inform teaching
- Participate in departmental meetings and planning
- Contribute to the wider school community and events
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in French
- Experience teaching French at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Ability to work as part of a team to raise standards
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Confidence in using systems and data tracking tools
Preferred
- Experience teaching A-level French
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) with willingness to engage in induction
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies
- Passion for languages and cross-cultural learning
