The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher to join our Languages Team and contribute to the academic and personal growth of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about teaching French and Spanish, with a commitment to innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 to the highest standards.
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Languages curriculum.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and assessment.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Participate in professional development and mentoring programs to enhance teaching practice.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching French and Spanish.
- Strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish.
- Commitment to student achievement and high academic standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with ECTs (Early Career Teachers) and mentoring.
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching strategies.
- Experience with inclusive teaching practices and supporting diverse learners.
