The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced MFL Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. This role offers the chance to inspire students, deliver high-quality lessons, and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking international school. The successful candidate will teach French to students in Years 5 to 7, with opportunities for expansion as the school continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence.
- Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to ensure all pupils make excellent progress.
- Promote the school’s values and ethos, inspiring pupils through enthusiastic participation in all areas of school life.
- Maintain a positive learning environment with high standards of behaviour and mutual respect.
- Provide excellent pastoral care, supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of pupils.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Participate actively in co-curricular activities and school events.
- Respect and support the culture and values of Saudi Arabia, contributing positively to the school’s international community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification / Qualified Teacher Status.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching French as a primary language.
- Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum or EYFS.
- A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with EAL learners.
- An understanding of the expectations of UK independent and international schools.
