The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced MFL Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. This role offers the chance to inspire students, deliver high-quality lessons, and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking international school. The successful candidate will teach French to students in Years 5 to 7, with opportunities for expansion as the school continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to ensure all pupils make excellent progress.

  • Provide excellent pastoral care, supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of pupils.

  • Participate actively in co-curricular activities and school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification / Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching French as a primary language.
  • Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum or EYFS.
  • A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with EAL learners.
  • An understanding of the expectations of UK independent and international schools.
