The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate MFL Teacher (Spanish and French) to join a collaborative team dedicated to raising standards across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Spanish and French to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and confidence in language learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and support whole-school initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement and attainment.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
  • Engage with students, parents, and the wider community to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching MFL (Spanish and French).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak and write fluent English.
  • Experience in delivering lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to raising standards and promoting student success.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching both Spanish and French.
  • Familiarity with project-based learning and collaborative teaching approaches.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices and student support strategies.
