The Opportunity:
A Midday Supervisor is required to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students during the midday break. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive and structured environment for students throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students on the school premises during the midday break
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students are prioritized at all times
- Encourage and support students in maintaining good behavior and positive interactions
- Monitor student activities and intervene when necessary to maintain order
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as required
- Assist with the smooth running of the school during lunchtimes and breaks
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for all students
- Support the school’s mission and values in all interactions
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A responsible and caring adult with a strong sense of duty
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Previous experience in a supervisory or pastoral role within an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management
- Experience with school policies and procedures
- Flexibility to work term time only and part time hours
