The Opportunity:

As a Middle School Learning Support Teacher and MTSS Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs while coordinating the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. This position is ideal for someone passionate about educational equity and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students requiring academic support.
  • Coordinate and manage the MTSS framework to ensure consistent and effective support across all tiers.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to create a cohesive support system for students.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet learning goals.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of academic subjects.
  • Conduct regular assessments and report outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Train and support staff on MTSS best practices and implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student support and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a learning support or special education role.
  • Experience with MTSS or similar structured support systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Special Education or Educational Leadership.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices.
  • Familiarity with data-driven decision making in education.
  • Leadership experience in a school or educational setting.
