The Opportunity:
As a casual minibus driver, you will play a key role in supporting student transport needs, particularly for the Sigma Sixth Sports Academy. This is a flexible role that offers the chance to contribute to a vibrant and growing institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the minibus safely to and from sports events and other school activities
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, tidy, and in good working condition before and after each journey
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Support students and coaches during events, ensuring a safe and positive experience
- Maintain a high standard of conduct and professionalism at all times
- Be available on Wednesday afternoons and other times as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Current and valid D1 unrestricted or PSV license
- A clean driving record with no recent convictions
- Experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Wednesday afternoons
- Commitment to student safety and well-being
Preferred
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics role
- Knowledge of school transport procedures and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
