The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Minibus Driver to provide a safe and friendly shuttle service for students across South Yorkshire. This role is essential to supporting our school's mission of ensuring all students thrive in a competitive world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, professional, and friendly transfer/shuttle service for students within South Yorkshire.
- Operate the minibus in accordance with all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of students during all journeys.
- Maintain the minibus in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other drivers as required.
- Work flexible daytime hours, including morning or afternoon shifts.
- Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Support the school's vision and values, including the promotion of a growth mindset and integrity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Current and clean UK driving licence (must include category D1).
- Commitment to the school's vision and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role or context.
Preferred
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of the local area and transport networks.
- Previous experience in a school or academy environment.
