The Opportunity:
As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students safely between collection points and the academy. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the school’s transport services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the minibus routes efficiently and safely.
- Ensure the safe and timely transport of students to and from the academy.
- Maintain a clean and well-kept minibus at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately.
- Assist with any additional transport-related duties as required.
- Attend MiDAS training if not already qualified.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A valid driving license and experience operating a minibus.
- A willingness to complete MiDAS training if not already held.
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or educational transport setting.
- Experience with child passenger safety and transport regulations.
- Knowledge of local routes and areas served by the school.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on full-time equivalent (pro rata for part-time).
- 22.5 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks).
